A great physcological thriller. Charlie is enjoying her birthday party at home, when a body of a man is found outside on the front lawn, by their housekeeper. Tyler, Charlie's dad cannot remember anything g about the day, so when he is questioned later by the police, he doesn't know what he is telling the detectives is the truth or not what is happening to the family will the truth come out? It was a rollercoaster of a read, twists, and turns around every corner. I loved it

Pucci's debut thriller is deliciously fast paced and entertaining. I really connected to the protagonist, Madeline--likeable (and unlikeable in a good way)––and kept on reading until I was hit by that surprise ending. The other characters, like Sadie and Victoria, really added to the tension. Loved the story and how everything played out! Brava!

I kept seeing this book being advertised and knew i wanted to read it, so to read it in advance was great!

And boy it did not disappoint! There is drama from the first page and it doesn’t let up all the way through. Set in New York a wealthy couple and their daughter are celebrating her 14th birthday when a body is found - this sets of a chain of lies, deception and more twists and turns then a rollercoaster.

Pucci is clever as you think you know what is going on but you really don’t, not until the last chapter. Short chapters each told from a character and a delightfully bingeable read. Well worth the wait.
